This John Deere 5500 pencil injector is a new injector manufactured by Stanadyne.  It is used in the early John Deere 5500 tractors up to engine S/N 308582.  Unlike a reman injector there are no worn out, used parts and eroded spray holes which cause hard starts, rough running and excessive smoke.  Stanadyne is the original equipment manufacturer for pencil injectors used in John Deere 5500 tractors.  For more information, please call our parts department 507-288-8038.
